Craig and Catherine Burnell have graciously offered their home for this year’s Christmas Party and White Elephant gift exchange. The party will be held on Saturday December 12th at 6:30PM at their Mercer Island home, located at:

This is a potluck affair, so please bring the dish that corresponds to the first letter of your last name listed below:

A-L Please bring an appetizer

M-S Please bring an entrée

T-Z Please bring a dessert

I think that Craig and Cathy will probably be cooking up a ham, but other than that, the menu is wide open and up to your imagination. This is a BYOB event, so please bring the beverage of your choice as well.

After dinner, we will be holding the World Infamous Thunderbird White Elephant Gift Exchange. Please bring one wrapped “white elephant” gift for each individual that would like to participate.

This is also the time of year to return any of the perpetual trophies that you might have won last year. We’ll gather them up and have Marty, Dale, Craig and Sandy’s names re-engraved on them for re-distribution at the Awards Banquet to be held at the CYC Shilshole Clubhouse on February 13th 2010. Please do mark your calendars for the Awards Banquet on the night of the Feb 13th and also be aware that the ITCA AGM will be held during the day on the 13th in the same location if you’d care to attend.

Lastly, we’ll talk about next year’s Fleet Officers.

For me, it has been a great pleasure to serve as this year’s Fleet President. Thanks for having me and I look forward to an eventful 2010 sailing season.
